Reconnect with your accounting classmates at this event hosted by Managing Partner at Lurie, Beth Kieffer Leonard, '82 BSB. While this celebration is open to all alumni and friends of the Carlson School, we'd love to see a large audience of accounting alumni employed at companies outside the big four accounting firms.

Given recent events, business professionals often look at this from a security perspective--what data are you collecting, how are you using it, and how are you protecting it? But the concept of trust goes further.

    - Internally, trust can make or break an organization’s culture.
    - Trust with your partners in your supply chain is critical.
    - Trust is a core component of a good brand. How do you protect that valuable asset?

Ignite 2018 will examine the concept of trust by way of research from some of today’s top scholars on the subject as well as companies with real-time experience on how trust impacts their business.

Thanks to all of the alumni who made it to the 2018 Carlson for Community Charity Auction! This event raised more than $53,000 for Connections to Independence, a local non-profit focused on assisting fostered youth right here in the Twin Cities. There were games, silent auction items, great conversation, and an energetic live auction where prizes ranged from personalized dinners with faculty to full-day boating excursions and were snatched up by the highest bidder. The 2019 Carlson for Community Charity Auction will take place at TCF Bank Stadium on February 23, 2019, starting at 7:30pm. We've found another great local charity that needs our help! Don't miss out on all of the fun and enjoyable additions we've got in store for the 2019 Auction. We'll give you a hint – photo booth, wine toss, and delicious food options – enough said. Keep your eyes out for more information coming this fall.
